[Remote] Senior Business Intelligence Consultant - Ellucian Banner

Strata Information Group (SIG) is a trusted leader in higher‑education technology consulting, supporting colleges and universities with ERP/SIS modernization and digital transformation. They are seeking seasoned professionals to develop and deploy business intelligence solutions based on the Ellucian Banner® reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop business intelligence strategies in collaboration with college and university clients
- Perform implementation services such as training, functional consulting and technical support at client sites
- Develop and deploy business intelligence solutions based on the Ellucian Banner® reporting tools including: Argos, Cognos, Operational Data Store (ODS) and the Banner® Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
Skills
- Strong SQL proficiency with experience in Oracle Database and PostgreSQL
- Ellucian Banner experience
- Experience working with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) in complex data environments
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reporting in BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Ellucian Argos, or IBM Cognos Analytics
- Experience working within higher education environments
- Proven ability to lead requirements gathering, business analysis, and technical documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
- Knowledge of data modelling, star schema, data warehouse best practices
