About the Role

Our client, a highly regarded non-profit organization with a broad operational scope, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Remote Senior Operations Manager. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to manage essential logistical and operational functions from anywhere within the United States. The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of various organizational processes, including supply chain management, inventory control, facility coordination (where applicable for remote teams), and administrative support systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a meticulous approach to problem-solving, and a deep commitment to supporting the mission of our client through seamless operational execution. This role is critical for ensuring our client can maximize its impact by maintaining streamlined operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. Oversee supply chain management, procurement, and inventory control processes to ensure timely and cost-effective resource availability. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the highest quality of goods and services. Coordinate logistical support for programs and events, ensuring all needs are met efficiently. Oversee administrative functions, including office management (for remote infrastructure), record-keeping, and compliance with organizational standards. Analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize workflows. Lead and mentor operations support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource optimization. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. Collaborate closely with program directors and other departments to support their operational needs and strategic goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in operations management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field, preferably within a non-profit environment. Proven track record of successfully managing complex operational processes and driving efficiency improvements. Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities. Proficiency in operations management software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience managing budgets and vendor contracts. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a remote team. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
