Position Overview – Student Success Coach (Remote)

The Student Success Coach is a pivotal member of careerzynith’s student services team. Working from the comfort of your own home office, you will serve as a trusted mentor, proactive advisor, and enthusiastic cheerleader for a portfolio of enrolled students. Your daily interactions—primarily via phone, email, and our secure messaging platform—will help students navigate enrollment, stay on track with coursework, and develop the study habits and career‑building skills they need to graduate with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Outreach: Initiate regular, scheduled contacts (daily, weekly, and milestone‑based) with assigned students to assess progress, identify obstacles, and celebrate achievements.
  • Academic Guidance: Explain careerzynith’s academic policies, degree requirements, and registration procedures; help students select courses that align with their career objectives.
  • Retention & Development: Implement evidence‑based retention strategies, including goal‑setting, time‑management coaching, and personalized study plans.
  • Resource Advocacy: Connect students with campus resources—tutoring centers, writing labs, financial aid offices, and career services—ensuring they know how to leverage every tool available.
  • Resume & Career Support: Serve as a certified resume reviewer, offering constructive feedback, formatting guidance, and interview preparation to boost employability.
  • Cross‑Department Liaison: Act as the communication bridge between students and internal departments such as Admissions, Financial Services, and Technical Support, facilitating swift resolution of concerns.
  • Data‑Driven Documentation: Accurately record all student interactions in careerzynith’s CRM system, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as contact frequency, satisfaction scores, and retention metrics.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on higher‑education trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in student engagement through ongoing professional development.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or international equivalent) recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in academic advising, admissions support, customer service, human resources, or counseling.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of academic policies, degree pathways, and student lifecycle processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a warm, professional phone demeanor.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail when documenting student interactions.
