Salesforce Administrator/Developer
Position: Salesforce Administrator / Developer Location: Chennai - Onsite/Hybrid/Remote Engagement Type: Full Time Shift Timing: 3.00AM - 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time) About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator / Developer with 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience to support and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate should possess a strong combination of Salesforce administration and development expertise, enabling them to manage platform configurations, automate business processes, develop custom solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business applications. Key Responsibilities: Salesforce Administration Manage Salesforce user setup, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and security configurations. Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, and reports/dashboards. Monitor system performance, data quality, and platform health. Support release management, deployment activities, and production support. Troubleshoot user issues and provide timely resolution. Salesforce Development Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and SOQL. Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs. Implement automation using Flows and Apex Triggers following Salesforce best practices. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Optimize existing customizations for performance and scalability. Collaboration & Delivery Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and project managers to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans. Support Agile development processes, sprint planning, estimations, and releases. Maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing artifacts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of Salesforce experience with both Administration and Development responsibilities. Strong expertise in: Salesforce Lightning Experience Apex Classes and Triggers Lightning Web Components (LWC) Flows and Process Automation SOQL/SOSL REST/SOAP APIs and Integrations Data Loader and Data Migration Salesforce Security Model
