Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Partner closely with product owners, data engineers, and agile technology teams to capture, refine, and prioritize business requirements for Voice‑of‑Customer (VoC) initiatives.
• Data Modeling & Architecture: Design and maintain robust data models that support both batch and real‑time analytics, ensuring scalability and performance on the careerzynith data platform.
• Analytics Enablement: Leverage Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to develop high‑throughput analytical pipelines that deliver accurate, timely insights.
• Automation & Efficiency: Identify repetitive processes and implement automation tools (e.g., PySpark scripts, shell utilities) to improve data ingestion, validation, and reporting efficiency.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and data quality checks to guarantee the integrity of metrics and dashboards delivered to business users.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce clear documentation of data flows, schema definitions, and analytical methodologies; mentor junior team members on best practices.
• Agile Delivery: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives, delivering incremental value to stakeholders on a regular cadence.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Hive/Hadoop ecosystems, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting.
• Proven track record designing and implementing data models for large‑scale analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience delivering incremental product releases.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
