Senior Sales Representative, Sports Medicine - West Rand

Work Flexibility: Field-based As a Senior Sales Representative, you will drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships across the Sports Medicine portfolio within the West Rand region of Johannesburg and surrounding areas. This role requires a commercially driven professional with strong clinical knowledge, established surgeon relationships, and the ability to confidently support cases in theatre while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You Will Do

Promote and sell the Sports Medicine portfolio to new and existing customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with Orthopaedic surgeons and key hospital stakeholders in the territory. Provide in-theatre support during surgical procedures. Identify new business opportunities and grow the sales pipeline. Deliver product presentations, workshops, and clinical training sessions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth. Manage quotations, product orders, stock, and reporting activities. Maintain strong product and market knowledge through continuous learning. What You Will Need Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum 3 years of medical device sales experience within Orthopaedics. Existing surgeon relationships within West Rand / Johannesburg. Experience supporting cases in theatre environments. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Commercial mindset with strong organisational abilities. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory. Full professional proficiency in English. Preferred: Experience within Sports Medicine. Knowledge of the medical device industry and healthcare regulations.
