The Opportunity Team Liquid is looking for a Social Media Manager (Remote) to manage social content execution and community engagement across multiple esports titles and broader brand initiatives. This role is focused on delivering timely, platform-native social content centered around Delta Force, Overwatch 2, and PUBG, while also contributing to broader brand, apparel, and partner deliverables and driving audience engagement and visibility across Team Liquid’s social channels. The position includes live match coverage, short-form content creation, campaign execution, and day-to-day community interaction across platforms including Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, and Discord. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling real-time coverage, creating social-first content, and staying up to date with gaming, esports, and internet culture trends. Location: Remote What You’ll Be Doing Execute remote live social coverage during matches, tournaments, and events, including match updates, highlights, and reactive content. Publish and manage content across Team Liquid’s social platforms, including Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, and Discord. Create and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts using gameplay footage, Twitch clips, and behind-the-scenes content. Develop and publish evergreen and engagement-focused social content aligned with gaming and esports communities. Maintain consistent posting cadence across platforms and contribute to monthly content calendars. Execute social deliverables tied to partnerships, apparel campaigns, and broader marketing initiatives. Adapt campaign messaging into platform-native formats appropriate for each channel. Engage with fans and community members across social platforms in a timely and thoughtful manner. Monitor social performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve content performance and audience engagement. Work alongside marketing and production teams on campaign execution, creative ideation, and deliverables. Contribute to broader Team Liquid brand initiatives as needed. What You’ll Need 2–4+ years of experience in social media management within esports, gaming, sports, entertainment, or related digital media environments. Familiarity with the esports ecosystems surrounding Delta Force, Overwatch 2, and PUBG. Experience creating and editing short-form social content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Proficiency across major social platforms including Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, and Discord. Experience using editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut. Knowledge of gaming communities, internet culture, memes, and platform trends. Experience using reporting and performance measurement tools to monitor and optimize content results. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Comfortable working flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends tied to live match coverage. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. You’ll Earn Bonus Points If You Have Familiarity with additional esports titles such as StarCraft II or Street Fighter. Experience with partnership, sponsorship, or branded social campaigns. Experience managing Discord or Reddit communities. Basic filming or behind-the-scenes content capture experience. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop, Figma, ClickUp, Asana, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social. Experience working in remote, freelance, or contractor-based environments. Exposure to paid social campaigns, email marketing workflows, or deeper reporting and performance measurement. Additional Information This role requires flexibility around working hours tied to live matches, tournaments, and events, including evenings and weekends. Limited international travel may be required based on event and production needs.
