Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst role involves gathering, refining, and documenting requirements to support evolving technology and data platforms, including AI-enabled capabilities, while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for performance and benchmark technology initiatives
  • Translate business and operational needs into clear, structured requirements, including features, background, and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with engineering teams throughout design and delivery to ensure requirements are well understood and solutions align with intended business outcomes
  • Support solution design by helping identify data flows, dependencies, controls, and edge cases across upstream sources and downstream consumers
  • Partner with QA and operations teams to support testing, validation, and reconciliation of system outputs against business and operational expectations
  • Assist with analysis and triage of defects, data issues, or production incidents related to performance, benchmark, or analytics platforms
  • Ensure documentation is maintained and kept current, including requirements, assumptions, data definitions, and process flows
  • Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts by helping evolve requirement practices to support automated, scalable, and AI enabled solutions
  • Collaborate effectively across teams and geographies, balancing multiple initiatives in a fast paced, business critical environment

Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting technology driven solutions
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for data intensive platforms
  • Experience working directly with engineering and QA teams across design, development, testing, and delivery
  • Ability to translate complex business and operational needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business, operations, and technology stakeholders
  • Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, evolving technical environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Exposure to investment data domains such as performance measurement, benchmarks, attribution, analytics, holdings, or transactions
  • Experience validating or reconciling system outputs (e.g., calculations, reports, or data feeds) against business expectations
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL. etc
  • Familiarity with modern delivery and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Interest in, or exposure to, automation with AI assisted workflows
