Tax Advisor - Contract to Hire
We’re seeking a client-facing Tax Advisor with 3+ years of experience to support our growing practice. This role goes beyond tax preparation, you’ll work directly with clients to review financials, identify opportunities, and develop clear tax strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Meet with clients to review tax situations and financials - Review books and tax returns for accuracy and completeness - Develop and present tax plans and roadmaps to help clients reduce tax liability - Identify proactive tax-saving opportunities throughout the year - Communicate strategies in a clear, actionable way - Collaborate with internal team members to ensure high-quality deliverables Requirements: - 3+ years of tax experience (public accounting preferred) - Strong knowledge of individual and/or business tax returns - Proven ability to provide tax planning (not just compliance) - Comfortable leading client conversations - Excellent communication and analytical skills Nice to Have: - Experience working with small business clients - Familiarity with common U.S. tax software What We’re Looking For: - Someone who can confidently advise clients, not just prepare returns - Ability to create clear tax strategies and implementation roadmaps - Proactive thinker who identifies opportunities, not just issues - Reliable, responsive, and professional
