DESCRIPTION: Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Technical Sales Specialist, where you'll contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise. You'll represent our portfolio of scientific instruments and solutions, working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions that enable them to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a technical advisor, you'll develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while providing technical expertise across the sales cycle. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support to implement sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences. A successful Technical Sales Specialist in Cell Biology, Regenerative Medicine will be responsible for providing life science technologies to Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical customers to support their research in Stem Cell, Neurobiology, Cell and Gene Therapy, Recombinant Proteins, and Gene Editing. The ideal candidate should demonstrate competencies to drive growth at key accounts, expand portfolio solutions and commercial partnerships, and develop new accounts in those territories. Territory: Boston, MA REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of a combination of technical and customer-facing experience in relevant scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or the life sciences industry. Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's Degree plus 3 years or PhD plus 1 year. Deep technical knowledge of the Cell Biology product portfolio and applications. Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirements. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts. Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities. Provide forecasting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment to account map, create growth strategies, and share gains. Demonstrated project management and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and ability to lift/move equipment as needed. Proficiency in English required, additional languages valued for international roles. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and formulate an action-based plan to capitalize on the data. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $90,000.00–$115,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
