Underwriting Associate Operations Account Specialist - Middle Market Field

The Associate Operations Account Specialist role involves managing multi-state, multi-line accounts and developing strong relationships with business partners and agents while receiving mentorship and training.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete applicable market new hire training and certification
• Learn to manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout their lifecycle, including rating/pricing, quoting, issuing policies, and handling related account activities
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with teammates, business partners and agents
• Learn standardized workflows and state compliance guidelines to understand business processes
• Analyze multiple sources of information to make sound decisions
• Develop critical thinking and decision-making skills to enhance business partner and customer confidence
• Execute service level commitments and deliver quality products in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of standard business software, such as Microsoft Office or equivalent
• Proficient in standard business software, such as Microsoft Office or equivalent
• Analytical thinking and judgment to analyze and compare information
• Time and desk management skills to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
• Ability to deliver service excellence to internal and external partners to ensure a positive experience
• Collaboration skills to work effectively in team situations
