Volunteer: Collaborative Game Community

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Set up and configure a hosted community on a platform like Circle.so or FluentCommunity, designing the community structure and basic feedback channels so users of collaborative sports and games can share experiences. The volunteer will work with our thinkers and designers to define membership flows and feedback methods; specific features will be discussed. The mission of EnTeam Organization is to provide collaborative sports and games as tools that other organizations use to build more friendly and productive communities. The objective for the Collaborative Game Community is to make it easy for people in other organizations (such as educators, counselors, faith leaders, psychiatrists, etc.) to share real-world experiences and feedback about collaborative games, speeding adoption and improving social and academic outcomes. Volunteers will help create a bridge between diverse communities, enabling practitioners to learn from each other and offer improvements to EnTeam Sports and Games. Our team of thinkers and designers will collaborate regularly with the volunteer to share goals and examples, participate in planning sessions, and review proposed community structures. Details will be provided during interviews and we commit to implementing agreed recommendations to launch and grow the community.
