Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative - Remote Tax Preparation Support, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients via inbound and outbound calls, emails, and online chats. You will work from the comfort of your own home, utilizing your excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities to resolve customer inquiries and concerns.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide inbound customer support via phone, email, and online chat

  • Assist customers with tax preparation and resolution of routine problems and questions
  • Track, document, and retrieve information in databases
  • Offer additional products and services to customers
  • Deliver expert customer experiences with a smile
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed support

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Recent tax experience (1+ year)
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home
  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Desktop or laptop to complete PC and internet testing during the application process
  • Work computer will be provided after the first day of training is complete
  • High Speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone
  • Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence
  • Open Schedule to accept any shift provided
