Job Description

As an Experienced Part-Time Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to American Airlines passengers, handling a wide range of inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Your primary duties will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Providing accurate and timely information about flights, fares, and travel options
  • Handling ticketing, rebooking, and refund requests
  • Coordinating with other teams to resolve complex issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or travel industry setting
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong knowledge of American Airlines policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Sabre or other travel industry software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service experience in a call center or travel industry setting

  • Experience working with Sabre or other travel industry software
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of American Airlines policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues
  • Fluency in multiple languages
