Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative II to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with building permits, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the planning and development process. This is a part-time remote position, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist customers with building permits, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
  • Collaborate with our Building Code Compliance team to ensure that all customers receive the highest level of service and support
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of careerzynith's policies and procedures, as well as local building codes and regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Work closely with our team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. construction, business, communications) preferred

  • Three (3) years of direct customer service experience required; experience in a construction environment, building department, or permitting and development preferred
  • Successful completion of all classes for any one phase of the careerzynith Employee Development Program and receive a passing score of 70% or higher on the phase examination within twelve (12) months of employment
  • Current performance evaluation score of 4.0 or higher, with no performance evaluation factors with a rating of 1 or 2
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a construction environment, building department, or permitting and development

  • Successful completion of college coursework in a construction field
  • Certification as a Notary Public in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain within six months of employment)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages)
