Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) at careerzynith, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients, including product manufacturers, physicians, patients, and internal customers. You will be responsible for maintaining effective systems, processing prescriptions, and providing support to pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians. Key Responsibilities
* Maintain effective systems to support the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients
- Process prescriptions for non-dispensing pharmacy prescriptions across multiple prescription brands
- Log information into the appropriate pharmacy database and triage prescriptions to the appropriate dispensing pharmacy
- Provide support to pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians as needed
- Run eligibility checks and test claims as needed for patient prescriptions
- Distribute prescriptions to appropriate Reimbursement Specialists and stakeholders
- Maintain and promote a positive and professional working relationship with associates and management
- Comply with all appropriate program policies and procedures
- Perform related duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
* Previous 3+ years of professional work experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Technician license (National license preferred)
- Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas (if not currently licensed, ability to obtain licensed)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of pharmacy regulations for prescription processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer application skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Adaptable and flexible to new situations
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a hub services or pharmacy setting
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems
- Experience with data entry and processing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment
* The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and support
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Must be flexible on schedule and hours between 8am - 8pm EST
