Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Travel Data Entry Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our travel operations team, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating booking data, trip details, and customer records. You will work closely with our travel team to ensure digital records are up-to-date and accurate. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in both data entry and the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately input and update booking data, trip details, and customer records in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Verify travel-related information such as flight numbers, hotel bookings, and transport schedules to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the travel team to correct errors or missing data, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Maintain databases for partner vendors, tours, and client accounts, ensuring up-to-date information and accurate records.
  • Perform routine audits of travel logs and booking systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure timely reporting and distribution of travel summaries and updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required; college-level coursework in business or tourism a plus.

  • Previous data entry or clerical experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Interest or experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industries, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and online travel portals, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM with accuracy, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting and collaborate with team members.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
