Housekeeper (Full Time, 3rd Shift, Weekends) [Remote]

Third Shift (Nights) Environmental Conditions Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

• Note: This is a full time, night shift role. 8-hr shifts with 1 required weekend night per week.

Responsible for cleaning and organizing all areas of the facility in accordance with the Housekeeping Cleaning Log. Maintains an adequate supply of cleaning materials to perform duties. Reports all building deficiencies to the supervisor. Cleans all areas of the facility as indicated. Documents a checklist that all required tasks have been completed. Oversees stock on all janitorial supplies, informing purchasing department when needing to replenish. Completes additional housekeeping duties, as needed to support special facilities projects. High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Knowledge of appropriate cleaning methods and procedures Ability to learn, understand and follow OSHA regulations and bloodborne pathogens training Thermo Fisher Scientific values the health and wellbeing of our employees.
