The Akamai Global Payroll team manages the full-cycle administration of our world-wide payroll and payroll tax reporting. We are responsible to help guide our employees through all aspects of their financial journey at Akamai. We are supported cross-functionally with teams from legal, compensation, accounting and equity. You'll complete projects, working with vendors and employees, and enhance your knowledge and understanding of our programs at all levels throughout the Company. As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for: Participating in timely and accurate preparation and processing of bi-weekly domestic payroll and special pay runs. Reconciling payroll calculations prepared by the Payroll Providers to ensure consistency and accuracy. Ensuring all statutory payments and filings are performed accordingly to internal company policies and local laws. Maintaining effective internal controls for the payroll function and proactively working with management to identify efficiency gaps and improvements Following company policy & SOX, government regulations that affect payroll to ensure compliance of payroll policies and practices Participating in special projects and performing additional duties if required Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 2-5 years of relevant experience and a High School / Bachelor's degree or its equivalent Have advanced working knowledge of ADP payroll process and platforms. GlobalView experience. Have outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent English communication skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues globally.
